About Chef le Grande

My background, training & experience  

 

 

 

 

 

 

I served a City & Guilds apprenticeship at Blenheim Palace, in the private kitchens of the 11th Duke of Marlborough, who very sadly passed away on 16th October, 2014. My chef and mentor at Blenheim taught me a deep and abiding respect for food, its preparation and its presentation. I later worked as a pâtissier chef, and then as part of a large brigade, where I worked on almost every station of professional kitchens. I went on to lead my own brigade of chefs, and was the first woman in the Merchant Navy to serve in the North Sea, just for the adventure. I have a deep connection to food and natural produce, 

and love people to really enjoy my food.

 

 

Teaching

As a tutor of professional cuisine in a French academy I am available to teach you privately, either one-on-one, or with a small group of friends on your own premises. Please talk to me and we will work out how to best serve your requirements.

 

Your fine dining

I understand the importance of being able to entertain friends and family in the comfort of your home, chateau or gite, when all around is unfamiliar. I have many years’ experience of providing fine dining throughout the world, on yachts, in restaurants, palaces and private houses.

 

Holiday catering is always stressful, but I have built up an enviable circle of quality suppliers of seafood and fish, superb meat and fresh, seasonal produce. I know where to find the juiciest oysters, the most tender cuts of meat, and the freshest fruit and vegetables available.

 

I offer a high quality, professional catering service, with great attention to detail, I always work to the highest standards of presentation, service and value for money, whether it be a dinner party in your own home or a five course gourmet wedding breakfast, I offer an entirely bespoke service because I have a ‘nothing is a problem’ approach. 

 

My professional service staff will provide you with immaculately presented food & impeccable service to make your occasion a night to remember by all.
